License Agreement

A purchased MemoryVault license is bound to a SINGLE PHYSICAL COMPUTER — at installation, the software records the machine's unique hardware identifier, and the license remains valid only on that machine.

The license may be transferred to a different physical machine up to 2 times per year (self-service device-transfer feature on the webshop). The previous machine's license becomes invalid at that point.

The license allows the software to be activated and used by up to 10 (ten) distinct Windows user accounts on the licensed machine.

Once 10 distinct users have activated the software on the licensed machine, any additional, new user can only activate the software on that machine by purchasing a new license. Already-activated users (e.g. after a reinstall) may continue using the software regardless of the limit.

Processor: a processor supporting the x86-64-v2 instruction set (CPUs manufactured roughly after 2013) — the software cannot start on older processors.

Memory (RAM): 8 GB minimum. 16 GB or more is recommended for smooth operation, especially with larger photo libraries.

Operating system: Windows 10 (21H2 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit — installs without administrator rights.

Graphics card (GPU): none required — the software uses CPU-only AI processing.

Storage: approx. 1.2 GB for the app, plus approx. 1–2 GB for AI models downloaded on first use. At least 5 GB of free space is recommended.

MemoryVault and all its components are protected by copyright. The license grants only the right to use the software as intended, under these terms — it does not transfer ownership.

Reverse engineering, circumventing licensing or other protection mechanisms, and redistributing, reselling, or renting the software to third parties without the manufacturer's prior written consent are all prohibited.

The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The manufacturer is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the software, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
